Welcome to Troop 113!  2013 marked the start of our 4th decade!   New scouts are always welcomed!



Under the leadership of acting SPL Ruben L., the scouts of Troop 113 won 4 awards in the competition sites at the 52nd annual West Point Scoutmasters Council Camporee. The scouts earned 2nd place in the Swiss Seat competition and 3rd place in Fire Building, Wilderness Survival and Camouflage competitions.  Your leaders commend you all on a job well done!

University of Scouting is Saturday, December 6

Patriots' Path Council 2014 University of Scouting registration is open!  The University will take place on December 6 at Randolph Middle School from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, or any part of the day you want to attend.

On Dec. 13, the troop will travel to New York City and tour the 911 Museum and Memorial, have lunch at the Brookfield Place Food Court, tour the National American Indian Museum and Castle Clinton (one of the first New York Harbor Forts built before the War of 1812) in the Battery Park Area. Transportation will be by ferry.Costs are $35 for scouts and $45 for adults.Currently limited to 30 attendees, however will try to get additional tickets if more sign up (not guaranteed).Payment and permission form due by November 26. After Sunday, scouts/adults will be responsible for ticket price ($17 scout, $26 adult)if they cancel.

ALL HANDS ON DECK FOR our annual work session to say THANK YOU to St Clement parish for allowing us space to meet each week, hold our Court of Honor, spaghetti dinner, store our gear in the shed, etc.   Bring work gloves and a leaf rake or blower if you have one.  St. Clement's Church Noon to 3PM.

Den Chief Training Dec. 6

Den chief training will take place on December 6 from 8:30AM to 11:30AM or 12:30PM to 3:30PM at University of Scouting, Randolph Middle School, 507 Millbrook Ave, Randolph.  A Boy Scout who serves as a den chief not only helps Cub Scouts have fun as he provides a valuable resource for den leaders, but also satisfies the Position of Responsibility requirement for the Star, Life, or Eagle rank.

If you have not already done so, please bring a check to the next meeting and leave Mrs. Melhorne at the "Collection Table". Dues for the upcoming scouting year (calendar year January through December) are $95.00.  We must submit our roster by December 1st. If you have any questions please see our Troop Committee Chairs.
